I began periodic training with Al Pesso in Franklin, NH and Ny since 1991, and have been in training with the New England Training Group 1 and since then working with the Northeast Intervision Group, which meets in Lee, New Hampshire four to five times a year, since 1997. I also completed training with & USA PBSP® Supervisor/Trainer Training Group 1 and meet with them annually now.

- Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis-1988-1990
- Institute for Integrative Training in Psychotherapy - (training in the integration of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy) 1990-91
- Additional training in hypnosis, EMDR, and psychotherapy from a Buddhist or contemplative perspective
How did you first hear of PBSP®? I attended a presentation given by a colleague in 1990.
Why did you want to become a Certified PBSP® Therapist? Although I am appreciative of the training I have done in other therapeutic modalities, I have found PBSP® to be uniquely profound and powerful in its capacity to help people heal from early emotional wounds and live more satisfying and productive lives. I also love teaching and supervising students, so moving toward the goal of teaching and supervising the work was a natural progression for me.
Do you run any PBSP® Groups or have you ever? I have run PBSP® groups and workshops for more than 15 years and have presented this work to a number of agencies and organizations, including Mt. Sinai Hospital, North General Hospital, The Jewish Board of Family and Children Services, Barrier Free Living, the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work (Hudson Valley Chapter), and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, New York City chapter.
Do you do provide PBSP® therapy one to one sessions and/or how do you use it in your work? For people who are receptive to this work, I offer one to one PBSP® sessions in addition to the possibility of participating in groups and workshops.

What are your other PBSP® involvements if any? "Leading Edge" group of experienced PBSP® therapists who are also certified or working toward certification as PBSP® supervisors and trainers.
Other than PBSP® what you do for work or other interests? I have a private psychotherapy practice in New York City, and work with individuals and couples using PBSP® as well as the other approaches mentioned above. I have also produced award-winning documentaries on psychological subjects for National Public Radio.
